About Pop Kulture Ferments
Pop Kulture uses traditional methods of fermentation to transform local ingredients into nourishing (and delicious!) plant-based food. The idea of Pop Kulture was born in a small Guatemalan town where owner Tessa lived and worked for a small fermentation business called Love Probiotics. Returning home to Perth she was inspired to share her love of the art of fermenting and so, Pop Kulture was born.
Pop Kulture’s goal is to make sauerkraut cool. With Pop Kulture’s wide range of special seasonal small batches there is a tasty ferment to fit any meal. You can get your hands on a jar at a local Perth farmers market. You’ll also find Tessa in her food truck Frida every other Saturday at Kyilla Farmers Market serving up a mean plant-based breakfast.
